We will need together on project Tuk Tuk Trip India 2011 almost 4000 Eur. The registration fee that includes tuk tuk hire fee is 895 pounds (1000 Eur) per team. Plus we will have to donate 1000 pounds (1130 Eur) to charity and of course, there are some expenses for the flight ticket, visa, gas, food and accommodation, which shouldn't be more than 800 Eur per person.

FRANK Water Projects 

FRANK Water Projects funds facilities that use the the world's most effective water filtering process. The facilities are community owned and run, with an emphasis on the project being sustainable well into the future.

FRANK Water Projects has to date funded 32 clean water plants in India, reaching more than 220 thousand people. We plan to fund another 16 projects over the coming months, and these are due to be completed by March 2010.

Each project costs around £7,000 and provides clean, safe drinking water for up to 7,000 people in the village and surrounding communities.

That means that for every pound donated, clean, healthy drinking water is provided for one person, for life.

Once a project is set up, it is owned, run and maintained by the local community, with support workers on hand to provide advice when needed.

Local operators from that specific village are trained to operate and maintain the facility.
